URGO Resistant Warts, pen, is a medical device indicated for the home treatment of the most stubborn warts , located on the hands and feet, in adults and children over 4 years of age.

The URGO Resistant Warts pen is an effective, precise and practical method for removing even the most stubborn warts at home.

Instructions for use :

Before use, please read the instructions carefully. The URGO Resistant Warts Pen contains a highly effective but corrosive gel. For external use on hands and feet only. If you are unsure whether your skin condition is a wart, please consult a doctor before using this product.

Important notice : Protect the surrounding healthy skin before treatment by applying a thin layer of petroleum jelly around the wart. Be careful not to get petroleum jelly on the wart itself, as this could reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.

To open the pen, turn the cap until the 2 red arrows are aligned, then pull.
For first-time use, press the pen's push button several times, with a 5-second interval between each press, until the bluish gel appears in the transparent part of the applicator tip. One drop of gel (1 click) is sufficient for one application. If a single drop does not completely cover the wart, apply another drop of gel to the wart, being careful not to touch the surrounding healthy skin.
Hold the pen vertically with the applicator pointing downwards to allow the gel to reach the applicator tip.
Carefully and precisely apply a single drop of gel to the wart. Thanks to the bluish tint of the gel, it is easy to identify where the gel is being applied.
If the gel accidentally comes into contact with healthy skin, rinse thoroughly with clean water and soap to prevent irritation or burns to healthy skin.
After application, allow the gel to dry for 10-15 minutes before putting on clothes or shoes.
Repeat twice a day for 4 days. For children with small warts, apply once a day for 4 days.
Wipe the applicator thoroughly with a tissue to remove excess gel. Replace the cap on the pen and ensure the red arrows are not aligned.
During treatment, the wart will darken and the skin will form a scab. Depending on the size of the wart, this should disappear within 1 to 2 weeks after the end of treatment, leaving smoother, slightly pink skin that will regain its natural color in the following weeks.
Do not expose the treated area to the sun until the skin has regained its natural color.
If the wart does not disappear completely, the treatment can be repeated after a 4-day break. The treatment can be carried out up to a maximum of 4 times. If the wart has still not disappeared after the 4th treatment, please consult your doctor.

Precaution for use:

The URGO Resistant Warts pen contains a corrosive acid. It is important to apply this product to warts on the HANDS and FEET ONLY.
If the gel comes into contact with healthy skin, rinse immediately with clean water and soap.
For external use only.
If this is the first time using the gel, apply it to only one wart before treating multiple warts.
Do not expose the treated area of skin to the sun until it is completely healed. This skin renewal process can take 4 to 6 weeks. Prolonged sun exposure may cause hypo- or hyperpigmentation.
Do not touch the treated skin as warts are contagious.
Do not scratch or pick at the treated wart; let it fall off on its own.
Do not apply the product to your mouth or near your eyes. After treating the warts on your hands, wash your hands after 5 minutes to avoid any risk of contact between the product and your eyes or mucous membranes. In case of accidental contact with the eyes or mucous membranes, rinse thoroughly with clean water and consult your doctor.
For hygiene reasons, the pen should be used by only one person. Do not reuse it on other users. The pen must be discarded at the end of the treatment.
Avoid contact with jewelry, clothing, fabrics or furniture as the pen could damage them.
After each use, gel residue may remain in the pen cap, therefore it is recommended to handle the pen cap carefully when opening or closing it.
Keep the treated area clean to avoid infection.
Consult a doctor:
– If the wart has not disappeared after 4 treatment periods (4 weeks);
– If you experience irritation, redness or pain;
– If the wart is damaged, bleeding, red or painful, or if the skin around it is red or painful.

Contraindications

Do not use the product in the following cases:

On other parts of the body besides the hands or feet.
On skin that is bleeding, irritated, inflamed, or showing signs of inflammation such as itching or swelling.
On moles, hyperpigmentation, brown spots, freckles, skin lesions due to the molluscum contagiosum virus (water warts), seborrheic warts or flat warts.
If you are not sure whether your skin condition is a common wart or a plantar wart.
If you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients.
In children under 4 years old.
In combination with other wart treatment products. It is advisable to wait until the wart has returned to its initial appearance (without irritation or redness) before starting treatment.
Before use, it is advisable to consult a doctor in the following cases:
– Pregnancy or breastfeeding;
– Blood circulation problems, skin diseases, diabetes.
