5 L Neoprene Glue Can - Essential by My Podologie

Multi-purpose contact adhesive based on polychloroprene rubber in flammable solvent environments, light in color and with high initial tack.

This glue has a very long open time and is very easy to use.

It is used exclusively as a single component without the addition of catalyst and mainly for 2-sided gluing.

Not suitable for plasticized PVC (migration), nor expanded or extruded polystyrene (solvent attack). Product used in shoemaking, upholstery, furniture, fittings, construction and many industrial sectors.

CONSISTENCY	Liquid easily applied with a brush

DRY MATTER CONTENT	~ 24.1%
VISCOSITY	~ 1900 mPa.s
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE POLYMERIZED GLUE FILM	Fairly firm and flexible adhesive film. Excellent adhesive properties on many materials. Good thermal resistance up to +80°C peak (specific tests required depending on the materials and intended use). Single-component adhesive to be used without the addition of isocyanate catalyst.
CONSUMPTION / REMOVAL	~ 120 to 140 g/m² wet per side, variable depending on the nature of the materials to be bonded and the application system
SETTING SPEED	Very good tack and initial set upon posting / Final set 24 hours
OPEN TIME	4 hours (2-sided gluing)
OPERATING TEMPERATURE	+15°C and ? +30°C
